Rose A. Conway was born ca. 1900 in Emporia, Kansas. She worked as a secretary under J. Vivian Truman at the Federal Housing Administration in Kansas City, Missouri in 1935, and was the administrative assistant in President Harry S. Truman's office (personal secretary to the President) from 1945 to 1972. Conway died on March 17, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri.
